| Featured ColdAvenger - Ian Hall |
ColdAvenger athlete, Ian Hall, completed the 352 mile course of the 6633 Ultra and finished in second place! The 6633 Ultra is a non-stop, self-sufficient foot race of 352 miles from Eagle Plains in the Yukon to the Arctic Ocean at Tuktoyaktuk through the Arctic Circle. Ian finished in second place of four finishers in 2013, the race started with 20 racers. The race took him six days and 19 hours, making him the eighth person to finish in the six years the event has taken place. Here is what Hall had to say about the ColdAvenger, "Unlike desert racing, which is mainly about being in good physical shape, success in the extreme cold depends just as much on what you put in your kit bag. ColdAvenger really delivered for me in the 6633 Ultra, especially when the going got tough on the ice road from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk. Whenever I do my next extreme cold ultra, ColdAvenger will be right at the top of my kit list." Congrats Ian! He proves that you can accomplish amazing things in the frigid cold with a ColdAvenger.
